The Soulfire Photoshoot Experience: Three steps to radiant portraits you’ll be proud to share with the world.
Step 1Before Your Photoshoot
Choose what type of photoshoot you is best for you, between the Headshot Package or Personal Branding Package. If you’re not sure, I can make a recommendation based on what type of images you have in mind and how you plan to use them.
After you book your photoshoot (please contact me for availability), I will send you details including wardrobe and prep tips, so that your shoot day will be fun and easy.
If you’d like to have your hair and makeup professionally done at the studio (additional fee applies), just let me know at the time of booking and I will arrange for one of my favourite artists to join us.
Step 2During Your Photoshoot
Once you arrive at the studio, we’ll take some time to get settled and chat about which of your wardrobe pieces will be the most camera-friendly and on-brand for you. If you’re having your hair and makeup done at the studio, the artist will incorporate your personal preferences and requests, to create a look you’ll love.
During your photoshoot, I will guide you through every step. I’ll map out an order of outfits (you’ll have your own private change-room) and will assess how the clothing pieces look on camera as we go.
Most importantly, I will direct you through flattering posing and natural expressions, so you can simply breathe, be present, and follow my lead. I dare say you will actually enjoy being photographed! I’ve found that connecting with my clients and guiding them on exactly “what to do” in front of the camera is the key to radiant, authentic portraits.
Step 3After Your Photoshoot
Within a week after your photoshoot, you’ll receive a link to a private online gallery of your watermarked image “proofs” to choose from. The user-friendly gallery allows you to easily "favourite” the shots you like best, with the option to share the link with others you’d like feedback from.
Once you make your selects, your images will be edited and ready for download in approximately one week. The final step is to share your beautiful new images with the world!

Your Questions, Answered-
Soulfire’s “Headshot Session” is approximately 1.5 hours, and the “Personal Branding Session” is about 2.5 hours. *Allow for an additional 1.5 hours if you’re having your hair and makeup professionally done at the studio.

You are welcome to bring someone along with you, if you’d feel more comfortable. However, most of my clients choose to come on their own. You can trust me to be your “emotional support ” ;)
*Anyone under 19 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. -
There is free parking available outside the studio building (1610 Pandora Street, Vancouver, BC) and on the surrounding streets. Please be mindful of certain time restrictions and “no parking” zones.

Yes, I offer packages specially for organizations who would like to have multiple team members photographed. Please CONTACT ME to discuss pricing and details.

Yes! Soulfire’s Personal Branding Sessions can include props that reflect a “day in the life” of your business, such as your laptop, equipment you use, or products you sell.

All edited images included in your package are yours to use freely, meaning unlimited, royalty-free usage for both personal and professional use.

Unedited images are watermarked and not for public use. Your package includes a set number of edited images. Additional edited images are available to purchase for $75 each.
