About Soulfire Studios

I discovered my love of portrait photography during a solo trip to Nicaragua in 2013, and I’ve been photographing faces since. It lights me up when I capture someone’s essence (i.e. their “Soulfire”) through my lens, and making my clients feel confident and at ease in front of the camera is the best way I’ve found to do that.

In addition to photography, I have been acting professionally for 15 years (check out my IMDb page HERE if you’re curious) and have also worked in the casting world. My first career was in marketing for a swimwear retailer, so if you need advice on the swimsuit styles for your body type, I can help you with that too.

At home, I am the adoring dog-mom to Cheetah, a chihuahua with a personality ten times her size. (Bonus points if you can spot her in the photo below.) A few of my favourite things are cozy grey sweaters, summer storms, Earnest Ice Cream (specifically cookies & cream), the movie What About Bob?, and sunsets over the Canadian Prairies, which is where I’m from.
